If you have unique public holiday dates that can’t be found in the import feed, you may prefer to add these unique dates into the system. 


Adding dates to an existing group:


1. Navigate to Admin tools > Admin panel

2. Go to Global > Public Holiday Setup

3. Click on the Days button on one of your existing Public Holiday Groups

4. Click on the Add new button at the top of the page

5. Provide the Date and Duration for the Public Holiday

6. Click either Save or Save and add another** to save the date


**When you click this option, e-days will save the information entered in the form and then take you to a new, blank date form so you can enter another public holiday date.


Applying dates to a new public holiday group:


1. Navigate to Admin tools > Admin panel

2. Go to Global > Public Holiday Setup

3. Click the Add new button at the top of the page

4. Provide a Name, Description, Country, Affected Entitlement* and Colour

5. Click the Save button

6. After clicking save, you will be taken to a blank date form to add a date to the group. 

7. Provide the Date and Duration for the public holiday

8. Click either Save or Save and add another to save the date.


*Affected entitlement will tell e-days what entitlement pot dates in this group should deduct from if they land on a working day. You can leave this blank if you do not want it to deduct from anything.


Please note that if you have recently added public holiday dates to a group that affects an entitlement, you might not see an immediate deduction on the front end of the system. When e-days recalculates as part of its daily tasks, you will see this change.
