Authorising and Unlocking Time Submissions


As an authoriser, it is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy and timely approval of time submissions. Here are the steps to authorise and unlock time submissions:


Authorising via the Manager Dashboard:


1. Log in to the system and go to your manager dashboard.

2. Navigate to the Action List.

3. Identify the record and authorise or reject it as needed.


Authorising via the User’s Time Submission Page:


1. Go to the respective user’s dashboard.

2. Click on the Time Submission button.

3. Review the inputted hours.

4. Click the Authorise or Reject button as necessary.


If you observe inaccuracies in the inputted hours, you can reject the submission, prompting the user to complete and resubmit it.


If a record has been authorised but requires modification, you can unlock the sheet by following these steps:


1. Navigate to the user’s dashboard.

2. Click on the Time Submission button.

3. Choose the week to unlock.

4. Click the Unlock button at the bottom of the page.


Similar to a rejection, this action sends the submission back to the user for amendments and resubmission.
