As an authoriser, you will receive notifications of time submissions that require your authorisation. There are two ways that you can authorise a time submission entry, either through the action list on your manager dashboard, or in the user’s time submission page. The action list will show only the dates for the week submitted and the total number of hours, whereas the user’s time submission page will show the breakdown for each day.

To authorise via the manager dashboard:
- Log into the system and navigate to your manager dashboard
- Scroll to the Action List
- Locate the record and authorise or reject as required

To authorise via the user’s time submission page:
- Navigate to the required user’s dashboard
- Click on the Time Submission button
- Review the hours that have been input
- Click the Authorise or Reject button as required

If you notice that the hours that have been input are incorrect, as the authoriser you can reject the submission, sending it back to the user to complete and submit again.
If the record has been authorised and you find that it needs to be amended, you can unlock the sheet by following the below:
- Navigate to the required user’s dashboard
- Click on the Time Submission button
- Select the week to unlock
- Click the Unlock button at the bottom of the page
As with a rejection, this will send the submission back to the user to be amended and resubmitted.
