Overview: This guide explains how to edit an existing User Template, allowing you to update shared settings that cascade to assigned users.
How User Templates Works: User Templates bundle configurations (e.g. entitlements, view filters) so that all users on the template inherit the same settings, streamlining maintenance and ensuring consistency.
How to Set Up Editing a User Template:
- Go to Admin tools > Admin panel > Template > User Templates.
- Locate the template you wish to update and click Edit on its row.
- Navigate through each tab (e.g. Details, Entitlements, View Settings), making the required changes.
- After finishing your edits, click Save Template at the top of the page.
