This guide explains how to permanently delete items from the Recycle Bin in edays. This removes the data from your system and prevents it from being restored.
How the Recycle Bin Works:
When users, absence records, or documents are deleted, they are moved to the Recycle Bin. From there, they can either be restored or deleted forever. This allows administrators to control when data is permanently erased.
How to Permanently Delete an Item from the Recycle Bin:
Go to Admin Tools > Admin Panel.
Click Recycle Bin in the bottom-left area of menu panel.
In the Recycle Bin table, find the item you want to remove.
Under the Actions column, click the bin icon next to the item.
Click Delete Forever when prompted to confirm the permanent deletion.
Additional Information:
Recycle Bin: Stores deleted users, absence records, and documents until permanently removed.
Delete Forever: Irreversibly deletes the item from the system.
Requires 'System Admin' role and Recycle Bin permission.
Tip: Review item details carefully before selecting permanent deletion.
