Groups - Deleting a group

Who this is for: System administrators. Requires 'Group Setup' permission.

Overview:
This guide explains how to permanently delete a group (e.g., "Team A" or "London Office") from your system.


How Deleting Groups Works:
Deleting a group removes it from your organisation structure. Warning: You must reassign all users to other groups before deletion.


How to Delete a Group:

  1. Reassign all users in the group using Bulk User Updates.
  2. Navigate to Admin Tools > Admin Panel > System > Group Types
  3. Click List next to the relevant Group Type
  4. Click Delete next to the group you want to remove
  5. Click Delete to confirm
