This guide has been created for system administrators.
Specific role permissions may be required, including: Overtime and TOIL setup.
Overview:
The edays system allows for the creation of both Overtime and TOIL (Time off in lieu) records. This enables time that users have worked over their standard working hours to be recorded in edays. Each Overtime or TOIL record created in edays is attributed to an overtime or TOIL type.
This guide provides the steps required to edit the viewing permissions for an existing overtime or TOIL type.
Step-by-step guide:
- Navigate to: Admin > Global > Overtime and TOIL set up*.
- Press the "Edit" option on the Overtime / TOIL type that requires updating.
- Locate the "Can view in record" and "Can view description in record" settings and set the desired values.
- "Can view in record" - determines whether the users are able to view the record under the Overtime and TOIL records
- "Can view description in record" - determines whether the users are able to view extended details of the Overtime/TOIL record
- Click the "Save" button at the foot of the page.
