This guide has been created for system administrators.
Specific role permissions may be required, including: System Setup | Users | User Templates.
Overview:
If you wish to allow users to place manual carryover/transfer requests from the system front-end, there are two requirements.
- An entitlement will need to be selected in the 'allow manual carryover / transfer to' field of the required carryover configuration. For an overview of carryover configuration please click here.
- Entitlement transfer will need to be enabled in the Transfer Settings section.
This guide provides steps to locating the Carry-over Settings section at the global, template and user levels within the system. As with other settings and options, affecting the Carry-over Settings at each respective level will override inheriting of the previous level.
For Example, template level settings will override the global level settings for all users within the given template, provided they do not have user level settings overriding both the global and template level.
