Rejecting a request via the staff record

This guide has been created for system authorisers and administrators.

Specific role permissions may be required, including: Staff record dashboard, Manager Dashboard, Staff record Holidays, Staff record Overtime and TOIL,  Staff record Sickness, Authorise requests.


This guide will provide you with the steps on how to reject a users record via their staff record.

Step by step guide:
  1. Identify the member of staff who has made the request.
  2. Visit their staff record by clicking their name in any droplet or by using the search box at the top of the page.
  3. Depending on the type of request you are rejecting, select either the Holiday Records, the Sickness Records button or Record overtime and TOIL.
  4. Navigate down the page to see the records of that type for the person you are viewing.
  5. Identify the record of the request you wish to reject.
  6. Click the Reject button on that item's row.
  7. Enter the reason for rejection in the pop-up box.
  8. Press OK.
