Logging a new overtime and TOIL record for a User

This guide has been created for system authorisers and administrators.

Specific role permissions may be required, including: Staff record dashboard, Manager Dashboard, Staff record Holidays, Staff record Overtime and TOIL, Staff record Sickness, Authorise requests.


This guide will provide you with the steps on how to log a new overtime or TOIL record for a user via their personal dashboard.


Step by step guide:

  1. Identify the member of staff whose record you wish to view.
  2. Visit their staff record by clicking their name in any droplet or by using the search box at the top of the page.
  3. Press the Overtime and TOIL records* button in the area below the heading mentioning the staff member's name.
  4. Click the "Log Overtime and TOIL"  button in the top right corner
  5. Complete the overtime and TOIL booker form and submit the record.

* The button labels may appear differently within your e-days system, depending upon your system set-up.
