Roles - Administrator role permissions

This guide is for System Administrators (Requires 'System Admin' role and 'Role Setup' permission).

Overview:
This guide details all Administrator-level permissions in edays, explaining which system features each permission controls.

How Administrator Permissions Work:
Administrator permissions are divided into Access Permissions (system configuration) and Record Permissions (data management). These control what setup pages and records an admin can access and manage.

Administrator Access Permissions:

  1. Group setup: Group configuration setup
  2. Role setup: Role management
  3. Authorisation setup: Approval workflow configuration
  4. Global rota setup: Global calendar-related setup
  5. Entitlement setup: Leave allowance configuration
  6. System setup: Core system configuration
  7. Absence setup: Absence type management
  8. Overtime and TOIL setup: Overtime and/or TOIL configuration
  9. Noticeboard: Noticeboard management
  10. User templates: Template configuration
  11. Users: User management pages
  12. Bulk user update: Mass user editing
  13. Bulk booking: Mass absence booking
  14. Licence ordering: License purchasing
  15. Recycle Bin: Deleted item management

Administrator Record Permissions:

  1. Holiday records: Planned absence record data & management
  2. Sickness records: Unplanned absence record data & management
  3. Overtime and TOIL records: Overtime and/or TOIL record data & management
  4. Carry-over records: Entitlement transfer record data & management
