A user will not be able to access their Edays account if no role is applied to their profile. Where this is the case, the user's web browser will display a 'too many redirects' error.
Roles can either be applied as inherited from a Template or set individually at the user level.
To view whether the user has their role set at their individual user level or is set to inherit from a template please follow the steps below.
- Navigate to: Admin tools > Users.
- Use the search filters to find the existing User you intend to update, then press the blue Edit button on their row.
- In the user detail screen, select the 'Roles' tab.
Inherit template roles
If the 'Roles' setting currently displays 'Inherit template roles', the user is inheriting their role(s) from the template that they have been assigned to. If no role types are displayed to the right of the 'Inherit template roles' box this indicates that no roles have been applied to the user's respective Template.

If the 'Roles' setting currently displays 'Custom' and 'Select some options' in the box directly below, the user is set to roles being assigned at their individual user level but no roles have been assigned.
