Reports - Editing a scheduled report

This guide has been created for system authorisers and administrators.

Specific role permissions may be required, including: Reports Dashboard, Reports admin.


Overview:

Edays provides the ability to run both preset and custom absence, overtime, system usage, and entitlement reports, and for these reports to be downloaded as a CSV, HTML, or XLS file.


This guide provides the steps required to edit the settings applied to scheduled reports.


Step by step guide:

  1. Navigate to Manager tools > Reports dashboard.
  2. Select the Data reports tab in the top left of the dashboard page.
  3. Click the Schedule Reports section on the left side of the page.
  4. Click the Edit Schedule button to the right of the report you wish to affect.
  5. Source the users you wish to include in the schedule by using the 'Choose a group type' option and selecting the users group.
  6. Select the users you wish to include in the schedule.*
  7. Once all users have been selected, click the 'Add Users' button.
  8. Edit the Stop Date and/or the Frequency the schedule should follow.
  9. Click the Create button to commit the edited schedule into Edays.




Please note: Your visibility of users included in reports is determined by the Reporting User View setting. If you are an authoriser, and you are unable to see required users in reports, please raise this to one of your system administrators.


*  Only users with the 'Reports dashboard' authoriser access permission enabled on their role will appear on this list. This permission is generally enabled on the Standard Authoriser role, though it could vary based on your system configuration. To review the role assigned to a user, please follow this guide.
