Roles - Authoriser role permissions

This guide is for System Administrators (Requires 'System Admin' role and 'Role Setup' permission).

Overview:
This guide details all Authoriser-level permissions in edays, explaining which system features each permission controls for managers and approvers.

How Authoriser Permissions Work:
Authoriser permissions enable users to view team information and approve various types of leave and overtime requests through different dashboard views.

Authoriser Permissions Explained:

  1. Manager dashboard: Access to the primary management overview page on the front end of edays
  2. Authorise requests: Approve/reject absence, overtime and other request types.
  3. Staff record dashboard: Provides access to user dashboards on the front end of edays
  4. Staff record holidays: See planned absences and holiday bookings
  5. Staff record sickness: View unplanned absences and sick leave
  6. Staff record Overtime and TOIL: Access overtime and time-off-in-lieu records
  7. Staff record time tracking: View working hours and attendance (may require additional cost)
