This guide explains how to create and manage QR codes for mobile clock-in functionality, including activity assignment and code maintenance.
How QR Code Management Works:
Admin-created QR codes enable location/activity-specific time tracking when scanned via the edays mobile app.
How to Manage QR Codes:
- Navigate to Admin Tools > Admin Panel > Global > Time Tracking
- Scroll to QR codes section
- Click Add new QR code:
- Enter unique name
- Assign linked activity
- Enable scheduled code refresh?
- Manage existing codes:
- Edit: Modify name/activity
- View: Check code details
- Refresh: Update code data
- Delete: Remove obsolete codes
Implementation Requirements:
- Mobile app must have QR code scanning enabled
- Users receive prompts if attempting non-QR clock-in
- Each code requires activity assignment
