Time Tracking - QR Code Setup

This guide is for System Administrators (Requires 'System Admin' role and 'Time Tracking setup' permission).
Overview:
This guide explains how to create and manage QR codes for mobile clock-in functionality, including activity assignment and code maintenance.
How QR Code Management Works:
Admin-created QR codes enable location/activity-specific time tracking when scanned via the edays mobile app.
How to Manage QR Codes:

  1. Navigate to Admin Tools > Admin Panel > Global > Time Tracking
  2. Scroll to QR codes section
  3. Click Add new QR code:
    • Enter unique name
    • Assign linked activity
    • Enable scheduled code refresh?
  4. Manage existing codes:
    • Edit: Modify name/activity
    • View: Check code details
    • Refresh: Update code data
    • Delete: Remove obsolete codes

Implementation Requirements:

  • Mobile app must have QR code scanning enabled
  • Users receive prompts if attempting non-QR clock-in
  • Each code requires activity assignment
