Overview:
The Entitlement Time Unit setting determines whether a user’s entitlement balance displays in Days or Hours. This setting change applies to all elements within the entitlement pot.
How Entitlement Time Unit Works:
The Time Unit controls the format of entitlement balances:
- Days: Displays full and fractional days (e.g. 1.5 days)
- Hours: Displays hours and minutes (e.g. 12:30)
User-level settings override any Template- or Global-level configuration.
How to Set Up Entitlement Time Unit (User):
- Go to Admin tools > Users
- Search for the user and click Edit on their record.
- Select the Entitlements tab.
- Click Edit beside the entitlement pot you wish to adjust.
- Set Time Unit to Days or Hours.
- Click Save user at the top of the page.
