Buy/Sell - Updating a holiday buy/sell record

Overview:
This guide explains how to update or cancel a holiday buy/sell (Flex Leave) record via the admin panel.


How Updating/Cancelling a Holiday Buy/Sell Record Works:
Admins can modify existing Flex Leave requests (e.g., correcting details) or cancel them (e.g., if no longer needed). Both actions follow similar steps.


How to Update or Cancel a Holiday Buy/Sell Record:

  1. Navigate to Admin Tools > Admin Panel > Records > Entitlement Requests records*.
  2. Use the search filters to find the record (filter by user, category, status, etc.).
  3. Click Edit on the relevant row.
  4. To update: Modify any details (e.g., dates, days).
    To cancel: Set Authorisation Status to Cancelled.
  5. Click Save Record in the top right corner of the page.
    Note: The menu name may vary slightly depending on your system configuration.

  • Key Term: Flex Leave – Allows users to buy/sell holiday entitlement.
  • Requires 'System Admin' or 'Entitlement Setup' role.
  • Tip: Use the search function within the platform to quickly find features or settings.
  • Warning: Cancelled records remain visible but are marked as inactive.
