Overview:
This guide explains how to manually add a holiday buy/sell (Flex Leave) record in the admin panel.
How Adding a Holiday Buy/Sell Record Works:
Admins can create Flex Leave requests on behalf of users, useful when employees need assistance or when backdating requests. You can set these as pre-approved during creation.
How to Add a Holiday Buy/Sell Record:
- Navigate to Admin Tools > Admin Panel > Records > Entitlement Requests records*.
 - Click + Add New at the top of the page.
 - Complete required fields:
- Select the User
 - Choose Entitlement request type
 - Set Authorisation Status (set to Approved to bypass approval)
 
 - Enter the time amount:
- Positive value = Buying holiday
 - Negative value = Selling holiday
 
 - (Optional) Add notes in the Details field.
 - Click the Save record or Save and add another button in the top right corner.
Note: Menu names may vary slightly by configuration. 
Additional Information:
- Key Term: Flex Leave – System for buying/selling holiday entitlement.
 - Requires 'System Admin' or 'Entitlement Setup' role.
 - Tip: Use the search function to quickly locate the Entitlement Requests section.
 - Best Practice: For backdated requests, add a note in Details explaining the reason.
 - Warning: Approved requests process immediately - ensure amounts are correct before saving.
