For: System Administrators
Overview: This guide explains how to amend or remove the allowance cap for entitlement elements at the template level.
How Allowance Caps Work: Allowance caps limit the maximum entitlement employees can accrue for specific leave types (e.g., capping "Annual Leave" at 200 hours). Adjusting these at the template level affects all users assigned to that template.
How to Amend the Allowance Cap:
- Access Templates: Go to Admin Tools > Admin Panel > Template > User Templates.
- Find Template: Search for the required template and click Edit.
- Open Entitlements: Navigate to the Entitlements tab.
- Select Pot: Click Edit next to the relevant entitlement pot.
- Edit Element: Click Edit next to the target element.
- Open Advanced Settings: Click the Advanced button.
- Adjust Cap: Amend or clear the "Allowance Cap" field.
- Save Template: Click Save Template (Top right side of the page)
