Accrual Award Review - Template Level.

Overview:
This guide shows how to view and edit accrual policies assigned to users at the Template level.


How Entitlement Policies Work:
Entitlement policies define how annual leave is earned over time. These are usually applied via templates so that groups of users follow consistent accrual rules. You may want to review or adjust these when updating leave rules or reviewing balance trends.


How to Set Up or Review Entitlement Policies at Template Level:

  1. Log into your account with the System Admin role.
  2. Go to Admin Tools > Templates > User Templates.
  3. Select the template you wish to review.
  4. Click Edit in the top right, then go to the Entitlements tab.
  5. Click Edit next to the entitlement pot you want to check (e.g., Annual Leave).
  6. Scroll down and click into the Policies dropdown or tab.
  7. Review or update the selected policy as needed.
  8. When finished, click Save Template at the top of the page.


Additional Information:

  • Entitlement policy: A rule that controls how leave is accrued (e.g., monthly, annually, based on start date).
  • Template: A set of shared settings applied to multiple users.
  • Requires 'System Admin' role to access and update Templates.
  • Tip: Review policy names carefully—editing a shared policy will impact all templates using it.
  • Warning: Changes made at Template level will override Global settings.
  • Use the search function within the platform to quickly find features or settings.
