Overview
This guide explains how to change a user's rota pattern, which will automatically update future absence records starting from the selected date.
How Rota Pattern Changes Work
- Purpose: Modify a user's working schedule (e.g., shift patterns) to reflect role changes or updated availability.
- Impact: Updates all future absence records from the new rota's start date (past records remain unchanged).
How to Change a User's Rota Pattern
- Navigate to Admin > Users > Users.
- Use search filters to locate the user, then click the blue "Edit" button.
- Select the "Rota" tab.
- Click "Apply Rota".
- Find the new rota pattern and click its blue "Apply" button.
- Enter the start date for the new rota and click "Confirm".
- Press the orange "Save all changes" button at the top of the page.

Important:
Changes affect future absences only (from your selected start date).
