Overview: Pausing Long Service Awards (LSA) prevents the user from receiving the balance associated with the award. To re-enable the awards, you'll need to follow these steps again, entering Advanced Mode in step 5. From there, you’ll have options to either Add or Remove awards as necessary.
Alternative Methods: There are two ways to disable the award:
- Edit and Disable the award, setting "Enabled" to No.
- Use Advanced Mode and select Remove for the award.
This process can be applied at the individual User level or at a broader Global or Template level.
Steps to Pause a Long Service Award:
- Access the Admin Tools:
- Navigate to Admin Tools > Users.
- Search for the User:
- Use the search filters to locate the specific user you want to update.
- Once found, click the blue Edit button next to their row.
- Access the Entitlements Tab:
- Within the user’s profile, go to the Entitlements tab.
- Locate the Specific Entitlement:
- Click Edit for the entitlement in question.
- Enable Advanced Mode for Additional Options:
- Click on Advanced to enter Advanced Mode, where you’ll have the options to Add or Remove entitlements as needed.
- Modify or Remove the Accrual Awards for Long Service:
- To disable the award:
- Option A: Click Accrual Awards for the "Long Service" element, select Edit for each Accrual Rule, and set Enabled to "No."
- Option B: In Advanced Mode, select Remove for the award to fully disable it.
- Save Your Changes:
- Click Save to confirm each update.
- Repeat for Additional Rules (if needed):
If multiple accrual rules need to be modified or removed, repeat steps 6-7 as necessary.Using these methods, Long Service awards for the specified user(s) will be paused. To reactivate the awards, follow these steps again, and in step 6, set Enabled to "Yes" or Add as required.
