Overview:
Each user's ability to access the system is controlled by a username and password combination. If a user has forgotten their password, as an admin, you will be able to send a password reset email or directly reset the password on behalf of the user.
Send a password reset email.
Step by step guide:
- Navigate to: Admin tools > Users.
- Search for the required user and click the edit button to the right of their name.
- In the user detail screen, click the 'Reset password' button in the top right.
- Tick the 'Send password reset email' checkbox.
- Click the 'Reset password' button.
Reset the password on behalf of the user.
Step by step guide:
- Navigate to: Admin tools > Users.
- Search for the required user and click the edit button to the right of their name.
- In the user detail screen, click the 'Reset password' button in the top right.
- Enter the required password.
- Click the 'Reset password' button.
