This guide explains why the "Copy in Rota" button may not appear for specific employees and how to resolve this issue.
How the "Copy in Rota" Feature Works
The button allows employees to manually copy their rota into time tracking. It only appears when:
- Automatic rota copying is disabled, and
- The employee's account is active (not future-dated).
How to Troubleshoot Missing Button
- Check employment status:
- Go to: Admin > User > User Overview > [Employee Name] > Edit > Review the Employment start date
- Verify start date is today or in the past
- Review rota settings (for user):
- Navigate: Admin > User > User Overview > [Employee Name] > Edit >Time Tracking
- Ensure "Enable copy from rota button" is ON
- Confirm configuration:
- Check: Admin > Template/User > [Relevant Group]
- Ensure settings aren't set to "Automatically copy rota"
