Overview:

A key component of the Edays system is the ability to create absences, with each instance of an absence saved as an absence record. Each absence record created in Edays is attributed to an absence type, such as Holiday or Sickness.


This guide provides the steps required to delete an unwanted absence type from your system.

Please note: An absence type can only be deleted if it is not associated to any absence records created in your system.


Step by step guide:

  • Navigate to Admin tools > Admin panel.
  • Go to Global > Absence type setup.
  • Identify the absence type to be deleted and click the red Delete button on that row.
  • Click OK to confirm deletion.
