Overview:
Depending on your company requirements, you may have some absence types that should only be bookable in the system by administrators. In this instance, the absence type would need to be disabled at a Global level, and then enabled at a User level.
This guide will outline how to disable an absence type at a Global level, and then enable at a User level.
Disabling at a Global level.
Step-by-step guide:
- Navigate to Admin tools > Admin panel.
- Go to Global > Absence type setup.
- Identify the absence type to update by browsing, or using the search filter.
- Click the Edit button on the absence type that requires updating.
- Scroll down to the Booking Settings and disable as required by selecting No.
- Click the Save button.
- Navigate to Admin tools > Admin panel.
- Go to Users > Users.
- Use the search filters to find the individual user account that you want to edit the absence type permissions for.
- Click the Edit button.
- Go to the Absence types tab.
- Identify the absence type to update by browsing, or using the search filter.
- Click the Edit button on the absence type that requires updating.
- Scroll down to the Booking Settings and enable as required by selecting Yes.
- Click the Save button.
