If users need to have an absence that reccurs then this can be set up by changing the settings on the absence type in question, please see the below guide for how to do this:


  • Navigate to Admin tools > Admin panel
  • Go to Global > Absence type set up.
  • Locate the Absence Type you wish to enable recurrence on and click the blue Edit button
  • Scroll down to the bottom and click Additional Settings
  • Check the box named "Allow Recurrence"
  • At the bottom of the page click the orange Save button.
